Warner Home Video have announced the US Blu-ray Disc and HD DVD release of The Aviator on 6th November 2007 priced at $28.99 SRP each. Martin Scorsese's epic biopic depicts the early years of legendary director and aviator Howard Hughes' career, from the late 1920's to the mid-1940's.

Using dual-layer discs (BD50 and HD30) the film is presented in 1080P 2.35:1 Widescreen with English and French 5.1 Surround and Spanish 2.0 Surround audio options (Dolby Digital on BD, Dolby Digital Plus on HD DVD) and English, French, Spanish and Portuguese subtitles. Extras include:

MGM and Fox Home Entertainment have announced the US Region A Blu-ray Disc release of five catalogue titles in October. Fox have several titles on the cards including The Day After Tomorrow, Edward Scissorhands, From Hell and The Hills Have Eyes 2 while MGM have a single, feature-less release in the form of Robocop.

Fox Home Entertainment have announced the US Region A Blu-ray Disc release of Prison Break Season 1 on 13th November 2007 priced at $99.98 SRP. The complete first season of hit TV series Prison Break marks Fox’s first foray into TV in hi-def and it's good to see that all extras from the DVD release are included.

Authored in HDMV and presented on six 50GB dual-layer discs episodes feature English 5.1 DTS HD Lossless Master Audio plus French, Spanish and Japanese 5.1 Dolby Digital Sound. Subtitles are included in English, Spanish, French and Japanese.
